Yesterday I met with Kashif Ashraf, an Oldham College Governor. We discussed what the Student Union could do to sell more NUS Extra Cards and promoting them in shops*. One of the ways we can do this is by personally visiting retails shops and business' in Oldham. It was a really interesting meeting with Abdul, it was nice to have Governor interest.
It was a really good meeting.
* Did you know that shops that accept NUS Extra Student Discount are within their rights to refuse you discount if you provide them with just your college ID card?! Stop this embarrassing moment from happening to you order you NUS Extra Card either online or from the Green Room. Plus you don't get any online discounts with just your college ID card!!!
